Orphan and Foster Care

The Word of God clearly tells us that it is the Church’s responsibility to defend the cause of the fatherless by caring for orphans. The Oaks has a variety of opportunities to do just that, from being a “4-hour Family” that takes care of foster kids while parents take a break or fulfill other responsibilities to taking meals to foster families.

 Mission Trips

Jesus told his disciples to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel.” We have some great opportunities to help you do just that. From short, family-friendly trips to Mexico to construction trips further south, this could be your year to step out in faith and allow the Lord to bless you, even as you take a risk to bless others.

Care Ministry_v1

Care Ministry

Romans 12:15 instructs us to “Rejoice with those who rejoice, and mourn with those who mourn.” It is our heart to extend love and a tangible expression of care to those experiencing life events such as hospitalization, major illness, or the death of a loved-one, and to rejoice with those who are celebrating births and adoptions. We want to exemplify God’s love through words and actions.

Ministry Opportunities include:

Hospital Visit Team
Ministry Team
Intercessory Prayer Team
Funeral Care Team
